Welcome to the Remark Support Monthly Webinar Series. Remark support personnel will do a short webinar demonstrating one feature in our Remark products. It’s your time to see a feature in action and learn how and why it is used. We will answer your questions live. Each webinar will run approximately 30-60 minutes. Please note that the webinars generally cover very specific features and not the software as a whole. Please read the targeted audience description carefully. Unless a webinar is specifically targeted to new software users, if you are new to the software you may find it better to complete some of the training modules first.

Using Database Lookup with ICR, OCR and Barcode Regions in Remark Office OMR – Thursday, June 29, 2023, 2:00PM – 3:00 EDT 

Remark’s Database Lookup feature can verify that recognized data from a region appears in an external database. This is useful for validating names, ID numbers, zip codes, etc. If not found, the item is flagged in your data. Database Lookup can also lookup and replace recognized data with additional data in an external database. For example, you may have a respondent ID on a form that is linked to a database containing their name, address, or other demographic information. Database lookup provides a way to add the information in the external database to the data you are capturing today. Join us as we demonstrate this feature and highlight its ability to broaden the information contained in your data.

Processing Course Evaluations with Batch Header Forms in Remark Office OMR – Thursday, July 27, 2023, 2:00PM – 3:00PM EDT

Are you using a generic teacher course evaluation form that doesn’t include information for the instructor, course, or semester and need a way to include that additional data when reading your completed evaluation forms? Do you need a way to add that same instructor information to the data captured from your generic student test answer sheets? A simple batch header form will allow you to add this and more. Join us as we discuss batch headers in Remark Office OMR and how using them allows you to add additional information to your data so you can get the most out of your data. Although in this webinar we will demonstrate with a course evaluation you can use a batch header form with tests and other forms.
