The Define Format feature can be used with OMR (Grid OMR regions only), OCR, ICR, and Barcode regions with a set number of characters. Formatting allows you to set the number of expected characters and enter a pattern for the data captured during form processing. When the defined pattern isn’t met, Remark flags the cell for review. You can also set the pattern to display items such as slashes for a date, decimal points, phone number formats, etc.
