In Remark Office OMR 12, The anchor mark utility allows you to add anchor marks (sometimes called corner marks) to your PDF form before you distribute it. Anchor marks are dark boxes in the corners of a form that help the software find the data points on an image, even when a form has less white space than recommended in our form design guidelines, or if the form is badly skewed. If you use anchor marks on your forms, recognition is likely to be better even if the spacing guidelines aren’t followed precisely. While we still recommend following our spacing guidelines for optimum recognition, the use of anchor marks will help if you need to need to get more information on your form.
