Beginning with Remark Office OMR 12, you have the option to turn on and use cell change indicators in the Remark Data Center grid. The cell change indicator is a small red square in the upper corner of the data cell, indicating that the data has been changed in some way. This could be through manually changing data, running review exceptions, deleting data, or copying/pasting data.
The purpose of this feature is to protect your data from accidental or intentional mishandling so that you can ensure your data is secure.
You can control the use of cell change indicators (change tracking) in the software preferences under Tools|Preferences|Data.
Note: Cell change indicators are session-based, meaning that when you close Remark Office OMR, the indicators will not remain. If you save the data to a Remark (.rmk/.rmx) format first, the cell change indicators will remain in the data set.
After you make a change to the data in the data cell, the red cell change indicator will appear. You can hover your mouse over the cell to see exactly what data was changed.
In addition, If you want to see the cell change indicators outside of Remark Office OMR, save the data to the Excel format with the Save cell notes turned on.
The screenshot below shows the saved Excel file with the cell change indicators (red triangles) in the data cells.
